Students with their summer equipment from Pacific Power
Fitness is Fun! Myrtle Crest Elementary would like to thank The Pacific Power Foundation for generously providing ALL STUDENTS with physical education equipment to help us stay healthy when we are not in school. The Pacific Power Foundation and our staff members want you to know that physical activity is important and should be fun! We care about you and want you to continue in your fitness journey after school, over the weekends, and all summer long. The goal is for each student to exercise at least one hour per day. We hope that the sporting goods will help you reach this goal!!The Pacific Power Foundation is one of the largest utility-endowed foundations in the United States. The foundation was created in 1988 by PacifiCorp, an electric utility serving 1.8 million customers in six Western states as Rocky Mountain Power (Utah, Wyoming and Idaho) and Pacific Power (Oregon, Washington and California). The foundation’s mission, through charitable investments, is to support the growth and vitality of the communities served by Rocky Mountain Power and Pacific Power.
