Tomorrow, October 31st is our Halloween Parade downtown for grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade at 1:00. This is always a high light of the year but the weather forecast is predicting rain. If it is raining, we will not be able to parade downtown. We will still be going to the care center to go inside to sing. Due to space, there will only be room for the students. We will then be coming back to Myrtle Crest Gym where we will perform our songs for parents and friends. We plan to be back at Myrtle Crest around 1:30. Please check-in at the office before going to the gym.
Final determination of location will be posted and sent out via phone message around 12:00 tomorrow letting you know if we will be doing the parade or not!
Let's all hope for sunshine so we can parade downtown!

CFPA Recruitment Field Day
18 MPHS Juniors and Seniors traded in their everyday hats for hard hats today.
Students took a field trip to Beaver Hill Road to meet with CFPA crews. There were 3 stations that provided demonstrations, hands-on experience and allowed students to ask questions. Students visited all three stations where they learned about; Hand Crews, Suppression Crews and Helitak Crews.
MPSD would like to thank all the CFPA crew members that made this field day possible. The students finished their day with a Subway catered lunch and MRE to take with them.
