Another successful PTK Color Run is in the books! This annual fun run is definitely a favorite among staff and students.
PTK (Parent Teacher Kids) is an organization that helps provide many wonderful things for our schools, teachers, students, and community. This annual fundraiser helps replenish PTK’s funds so they can continue supporting these important programs and activities.
Students had a few weeks to collect donations, with supporters having the option to donate a flat amount or pledge a certain amount per lap. PTK members came out to help run the event, making it a fun-filled day for everyone!
You may have noticed your student sporting some colorful bracelets last week. Each bracelet represented one lap around the field and playground, helping students keep track of their laps as they ran.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, with sunny skies, music, and plenty of fun to go around! Thanks to the incredible efforts of our students and the generosity of our community, this year’s event raised an amazing $14,000!
A HUGE shout-out to all our students, families, PTK members, and community supporters for making this event such a success. Your support makes a difference, and we are so grateful for our amazing school community!
