The school year is flying by. Spring break is coming up in a little over a week. The last day of school before spring break is Friday, March 20th. We will return to school after spring break on Monday, March 30th.
During spring break, we will be completing the track project. The Benyon Track Company will be completing the interior sections of the track. This will include runways for the long jump and triple jump. The project also includes areas for the high jump, javelin, shot put and discus. After the completion of this phase of the project, we will be able to host track meets. We are scheduling a home middle school and a home high school track meet. We would like to thank Tank Parrish and his company, the Myrtle Point Booster Club, The Myrtle Crest PTK and the Myrtle Point Kids Sports for their contributions to completing this project.
Spring sports (baseball, golf, softball and track) are in full swing. Games/contests/meets begin the week before spring break. We look forward to a very successful spring season.
Myrtle Crest PTK is hosting a Neon Night Dance on Saturday, March 14th from 6-7:30pm in the Myrtle Crest Cafeteria. A pizza Dinner is included in the entry fee. Cost is $5 a person or $20 for a family of 4+. Come and join in the fun.
