February was National Heart Month and 48 MPHS students completed CPR with AED training thanks to a grant from Pacific Power Foundation." The training was provided by our local Fire Chief Willy Burris and Deputy Chief Tasha Renard. CPR training promotes a culture of preparedness and responsibility and benefits the entire community. Pacific Power Foundation's grant also covered the cost of an AED that will be used by the MPSD transportation department for sporting events, field trips, or other activities. We hope that an emergency never happens, but thanks to PPF, our school and community will be more prepared if it does.
