As the Myrtle Point School District continues to plan for the start of the new school year, the State continues to adjust guidelines for re-opening. When the latest release came out on the metrics that must be met at both the State and County level for re-opening, they provided for an exception for K-3 if the County level metric is met. The School Board will be deciding on Monday, August 10th at their regular meeting, whether or not they will allow K-3 students on site this year, while others are in Comprehensive Distance Learning. The Board wants to hear from K-3 parents and guardians on this issue prior to deciding. Please take a couple of minutes to complete our survey. You can find the link within your e-mail if you have one registered with the District or on our website and Facebook page. The survey will be closed at noon on Monday the 10th.
